Reserve a Room
Orientation Room
- The West Library Orientation Room is used primarily for library orientations conducted by the library staff.
- The Orientation Room is also intended for professional meetings and/or educational events. The room is not to be used for student organizations or testing.
- Faculty and staff may reserve use of the Orientation Room by contacting the Reference Department (x4802). Faculty or staff must be present at all times during the reserved time in the Orientation Room.
- Food and drinks are permitted in the Orientation Room with the expectation that all remnants and trash will be removed by the person making the reservations.
- The Orientation Room has seating for about 30 people. It is outfitted with a desktop computer, projector, a chalkboard and Smart Board (interactive whiteboard).
- The Orientation Room can only be unlocked for the person (or staff representative from the same department, but not a student worker) who made the reservation.
West Conference Room
- The West Conference Room is intended for professional meetings and/or educational events only. It is not intended for training, testing, or student organizations.
- The West Conference Room is located on the third floor of the library and contains one long conference table that seats 16. The Conference Rooms has a projector screen and internet hook-ups. Because the third floor is the library's "quiet study" area, only events that will not cause any disturbance to library users will be permitted, and we ask that the door remain closed during your event.
- Faculty and staff may reserve use of the Conference Room by contacting the Reference Department (x4802). Faculty or staff must be present at all times during the reserved time in the Conference Room.
- Food and drinks are permitted in the West Conference Room with the expectation that all remnants and trash will be removed by the person making the reservations.
The West Library Study Rooms
- The West Library's study rooms cannot be reserved. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please make your reservation for the total time you will need access to the room, including set-up and break-down.
