Interlibrary Loan

Policies
Interlibrary loan is available to all students, faculty, and staff of Texas Wesleyan University’s Historic Campus.

After you put in a request for an item, we find the closest library that carries it and borrow it from them for you. If the other library doesn’t charge us for the service, we don’t charge you-even for courier costs. Whenever possible, we email articles directly to you. For books or print articles, you’ll need to come to the Circulation Desk at the West Library to pick up your materials.

You will get an email when the materials are available for you to pick them up. The checkout time for books varies based on the lending library. Any fines due because of a late return of materials are charged to the borrower.

For distance students (students not in the DFW area), please include your address. You may use the ILL form to get articles we have in print on campus. We are not able to mail you books from the library's collection.
